The Negotiator begins when Kate O'Malley gets called into a local bank to help "negotiate" a hostage situation. Little did she know that inside said bank being held hostage was one agent of the FBI. From that moment on, the agent Dave can't seem to stay away from Kate, even though he knows it isn't a good idea, he becomes very protective of her. Especially when she starts getting threats, and more serious things are going on. Now, it's a race to figure out who is out to harm Kate and all of these other people as well.
This book had a interesting plot line, and very interesting characters as well. But I just couldn't connect to them. It made me kind of sad that I couldn't, but alas it happens. I did enjoy the story though, and I had a nice time reading it. It was filled with suspense, a touch of romance, and a whole lot of drama. It also touched onto a few religious issues, and since this is a Christian Romance that was to be expected.
