Pool of Crimson is about Dahlia being a vampire hunter. The only problem is she ends up involved in a plot to kill the Master Vampire Ethan. Now, Dahlia must fight with the vamps against a Demon, and try to uncover who is friend and who is foe. All the while she has a werewolf and a vampire who peeks her interest. Life just got a whole lot more interesting for Dahlia.
This book was okay. It wasn't bad, but not great either. I was actually sort of bored with it most of the time. And I hated how there was going to be a love triangle, but then it sort of just vanished. I did like the main female character though she was really awesome. And the vampire Patrick was cool too. But I didn't much care for the werewolf, or the way the pack's Beta was allowed to do certain things. I'm not sure if I will read more in this series or not, but this one was a good book to pass the time with.
