I had a hard time deciding if this should be a 2 or 3 star book. The first 50% of the book is good with only the main character falling in love in a "cheesy" way in my opinion. It just didn't seem very realistic but other than that it was very well written and I could feel what the characters felt. However at about half way through the book I got bored, then towards the end I just couldn't connect with the characters at all. This book just wasn't for me. It was well written and it does have romance, some sexy scenes and the deep issue of Hope's "vices". But other than that it seemed to just drag and get boring. Hope feels like she can't have anything good in life because of the things in her past and Mason is a good guy who sticks by her side but a lot of their drama just seemed to be unrealistic to me.
