Blade Song by J.C. Daniels

Blade Song - J.C. Daniels

Blade Song begins when Kit gets a job offer from the cat shifters. She thinks everything will be alright she gets paid once she finds the kid who ran away. The problem is the alpha of the clan is a crazy woman literally. And she threatens Kit's life if she doesn't find the boy alive soon. Not only that but she has her enforcer Damon to help her, and be a body guard as well. At first Damon and Kit get off to a rocky start, and I do mean really rocky. But eventually they come to actually like each other. Maybe even a little more. But they still have the threat of the kid being gone and their lives on the line to figure out too much else.

The story was good. And I loved Kit. She is an awesome heroine. But I just felt like after about halfway through the book the relationship between Damon and Kit felt extremely rushed. And to me certain things just weren't explained very well. Also in the end I felt like I was left with a whole lot more questions than answers. So overall the book was okay. I liked it but I felt it could have been better.
